Arcades, board games, food and beer. Paradise of the gamers.
The closest thing Amsterdam has to a board game cafe. They have Jenga and a bunch of board games next to the ballpit. Yes, there is a ballpit.

Great store, love the love for old school boardgames.
Great collection of board games to buy, and a full wall of games to play in the store. Tues is Magic night and Fri is board game night, also the owners are lovely!
Simply the best board game store in town. The owners passionately help you out to find a good game, there's plenty of space for playing and a good community vibe.
A great selection of games in both English and Dutch
Atmosphere. Sofa's. Beers. Location. Boardgames. Inside seating beter than outside.
Boardgames and beer. Great atmosphere but the prices are steep compared to other similar places.
Great and authentic atmosphere + nice tea offering. Can even borrow some good old board games for a short return to childhood :). Not so much space though so gets full quite fast.
Beer, snacks, tunes, service, board games
Very “Berlin” like hommy place for Westerpark hood. Great jazz-funk music, board games, 🎱 pool and local bands performing after 8 pm. Real Amsterdam secret spot ❤️
Very cool crowdfunded bar. Feels like if Café Belgique and Soundgarden had a baby. A bit alternative and a bit local. Great mix.
The sweet potato fries were so amazing! Friendly staff. Had an awesome milkshake, they made too much and gave us the rest too. And of course, video games and board games! What is not to like?
Great place for doing some arcades and board games. Also nice beers
Play some cards or chess with drinks and nibbles. Cozy place with a nice vibe.
About as authentic as it gets. Old timers playing chess, smoking cigarettes street-side with their dogs. Not a lick of English to be heard. Beers are relatively cheap, and the staff is friendly!
Always busy here, but a really good spot for beer and board games on a Saturday or coffee and pie on a Sunday.
Great Mediterranean food with a Dutch twist! Very great prices, cozy, good staff and not discovered by tourists yet :p
Go and play chess
Great cosy place for cold nights! Nice atmosphere and offers board games as well!
Very nice bar, lovely service. Serve some good french red wines. Must visit.
Cozy, versatile neighborhood hangout - good for getting some work done, playing some board games, enjoying a leisurely Sunday brunch with a group.
Super cosy! Great coffee & apple pie, lovely staff. ☀️ Menu looked tasty
Cosy place, highly family and dog friendly, really local. Food is great, they take their time to do it but it’s part of the relaxed atmosphere. There is a jeu de boules area outside.
Relaxed and chill atmosphere, board games, WiFi, and the Benny was delicious!

Neighborly bar with Amsterdam brewed beers like Mannenliefde and Butchers Tears. Comfortable terrace and friendly owners. Spending time with Joost is great.
Best coffee in this area by miles. And they have Risk, the board game. Winner!
Great coffee and a nice spot to hang out, board games to play! Their homemade Dutch apple pie is the best in town ;)
Opened only weeks ago but you wouldn't know it: these guys are on it! Love the layout, with a street-front space and a quieter back space, divided by the 'brewing hill'. Oh, and the coffee is amazing!
You can play Chess in the lovely Bar, but if you've had Truffles for lunch then i doubt you'll win.
They have a great order in menu. The Canal View rooms are huge and so beautiful. And the beds are incredible!
